We show where we're clearly better (chart depth, transparent methodology, downloadable reports) and where we're clearly weaker (no live astrologer chat, no mobile app yet, tiny brand). Astrotalk operates a per-minute chat / call marketplace, not fixed-price reports, so its column above lists the marketplace rate rather than a single-SKU price. Cross-vertical cost comparisons should account for talk-time expected. We do not currently offer a wedding-day muhurta bundle; if that is what you need, Ganeshaspeaks or AstroSage is the honest pick today.

3. Where we’re clearly better

Chart accuracy is auditable, not just claimed. Our chart engine is verified arcminute-for-arcminute against Swiss Ephemeris across thousands of test births (extensions/chart_engine_selfcheck.py). No incumbent publishes an equivalent test suite.
485 classical yogas (from a 966-yoga library) evaluated by a domain-specific language. Every yoga in our library carries a machine-checked rule and a provenance label — classical, modern, research, or peer-authored. If a yoga is "peer-authored" we say so; nobody else does (yogas_library.json § provenance).
Anti-signal ledger. Where our own data disagrees with classical prediction, we publish it as a first-class output rather than pretending the classical rule is universally correct. No incumbent does this.
Manglik severity gradient + mutual cancellation. Our Compat Report reports Manglik as light / moderate / heavy with the specific cancellation reasons enumerated — not a binary yes/no.
Downloadable, printable PDF built into every report. Same CSS renders on web and print — not a stripped-down text export.
Kundli match is 100% free — no card, no sign-up. The full Ashtakoot report, per-koot breakdown, and Manglik cancellation check ship without a paywall. Deeper reads (Compat Report) have a transparent refund policy at /refund.
Public API and developer portal. If you're a matrimony platform or a fintech that wants embedded kundli data, we’re the only vendor with a public sandbox tier.

4. Where we’re honestly weaker — today

If any of these is a dealbreaker for you, ClickAstro, Astrotalk or Ganeshaspeaks is the honest answer.

No live astrologer chat. Astrotalk’s core product is a 24/7 astrologer marketplace with per-minute billing. We don’t offer that and it is not on the 2026 roadmap.
No wedding-day muhurta bundle. Ganeshaspeaks and AstroSage both sell muhurta reports today; we don’t.
No native mobile app. Astrotalk / AstroSage / Ganeshaspeaks all have Android/iOS apps with millions of downloads. We ship a progressive web app; native apps are not scheduled.
No brand recognition yet. ClickAstro (est. 2005), AstroSage (est. 2003) and Ganeshaspeaks (est. 2003) have 20+ years of trust equity. We launched publicly in 2026.
English only. We render reports in English today; incumbents already support 5+ regional languages.
No panchang / daily rashifal widgets. These are discovery surfaces, not products for us — but if you want a daily-rashifal habit, AstroSage is the obvious pick.
